Goodwood Brewing and Spirits is based in Louisville, Kentucky. Our core brews are crafted and canned there. Small batch, specialty brews are made at all Goodwood locations. Beer taps rotate often and include a variety of styles.

Core Brews

Louisville Lager
ABV: 4.2    IBU: 23

We brew this crisp premium lager in honor of friends and family using only the finest ingredients and brewing techniques. Have yourself a little taste of Derby City and enjoy this crushable lager!  

Goodwood IPA
ABV: 6.9    IBU: 67

Citrus nose with a beautifully dry finish that keeps you coming back for another sip. This highly drinkable IPA clocks in at 6.9% and is sure to please any fan of hops.

Bourbon Barrel Stout
ABV: 8.0    IBU: 30

Proudly brewed in homage to Kentucky’s distilling legacy, we patiently age this stout in bourbon barrels until it reaches perfection. Notes of Oak, Chocolate, lasting vanilla, and, of course, Bourbon!

Tart N' Tempered
ABV: 5.2

Light as a cool breeze on a summer day with a hint of peach that’s as charming as the south. Slightly tart finish keeps you coming back for another sip.

Walnut Brown Ale
ABV: 6.1    IBU: 31

Subtle caramel and chocolate lead into a pleasantly nutty finish. Made with a recipe that dates back to 16th century England, this Ale will drive you totally walnuts. 

Special Releases

Oktoberfest
ABV: 5.5    IBU: 29

Released annually to celebrate Oktoberfest, this traditional marzen is rich in malt with a balance of clean, hop bitterness. Bread or biscuit-like malt aroma.

Sting Like a Beer
ABV: 8.7

Bourbon barrel aged honey ale. Need we say more?

Shoot Your Eye Out
ABV: 6.9    IBU: 29

This robust winter milk stout is brewed with Cholaca—the liquified form of cocoa. This brew features a strong, roasty chocolate flavor and aroma with lactose (milk sugar) providing a sweet finish and big bodied beer. Chestnuts are added to balance out the sweetness and add a delicious nutty kick.

2 Live Brew
ABV: 8.2    IBU: 77

Double the hops, double the happiness. Goodwood Brewing’s 2 Live Brew is an American Imperial IPA that has been dry dropped for a unique taste. A unique blend of hops that accentuates more tropical flavors of stone fruit, citrus and sweet apple-pear with a hint of floral.

Goodwood Spirits

Goodwood Brewing and Spirits is based in Louisville, Kentucky. Our bourbons and rye are Kentucky bases that are aged in our used beer barrels. Our spirits are available at all Goodwood locations and at liquor stores in Central Kentucky and beyond.

ABV: 45.0  |  PROOF: 90

Bourbon is finished in brandy barrels for 3 months. These brandy barrels have held our delicious honey ale for no less than 6 months to create Sting like a Beer which we brew in homage to the legend himself, Muhamad Ali.

 

Tasting Notes: Flowery honey and caramel with a hint of vanilla on the nose, brown sugar and molasses on the palate, finishes dry and woody.


Base whiskey has a malt bill of 70% Corn, 21% Rye, and 9% Malted Barley. Aged 2 years in charred new american oak Barrels.

Bourbon is finished in stout barrels for 3-4 months. Freshly dumped bourbon barrels are filled with our award winning stout that is aged for 2 months minimum to make these.

 

Tasting Notes: Chocolate caramelized sugar on the nose, Cocoa cereal on the palate, finishes with roasted grain vibes.


Base whiskey has a malt bill of 70% Corn, 21% Rye, and 9% Malted Barley. Aged 2 years in charred new american oak Barrels.

Rye whiskey is finished in english Mild barrels for 3-4 months. Freshly dumped bourbon barrels are filled with english mild ale that age’s for a minimum of 4 months to create Bourbon Barrel Ale.

 

Tasting Notes: Herbaceous nose with hints of clove, eucalyptus, and sage, honey on the palate, finishes with notes of tea tannins.


Base whiskey has a malt bill of 95% Rye 5% Malted Barley. Aged 2 years in charred new american oak barrels.

Collaborations

In the Summer of 2018, Chicken Cock bottled twelve barrels of our award-winning 10 Year Old Double Barrel Bourbon. They gave six of those barrels to their friends at Goodwood Brewing in Louisville to finish their delicious Walnut Brown Ale.

This 9-year-old Tennessee bourbon was finished in Goodwood's Walnut Brown Ale casks for 18 months to create a layered, complex pairing of walnut, toffee, oak, biscuit and malt notes. A nuanced, subtle finish of finely crafted ale enhances this one-of-a-kind pour.

This 11-year-old bourbon is finished in Goodwood Brewing Brandy Barrel Honey Ale casks for 18 months resulting in a rich bourbon accentuated by layers of honey, caramel, fig, malt and dried fruit. A nuanced finish of finely crafted ale enhances this unique pour.
